Ensuring women's opportunities for entrepreneurship development and gender policy promotion

        On November 10, 2020, at the initiative of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the public organization "Khurshed", was held Conference on "Ensuring women's opportunities for entrepreneurship development and gender policy promotion", as part of the events dedicated to the Entrepreneur's Day and the implementation of the National strategy for increasing the role of women in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2011–2020 with the participation of representatives of ministries and agencies, the Council of women entrepreneurs under the Committee and civil society.
       At the conference there were presentations on “Promotion of gender policy and support for women in the field of business development”, “Presidential grants as an important factor in the development of women's entrepreneurship”, “Gender statistics - development of women's entrepreneurship”, “Procedure for formation of business activity”, “The role of women in the development of tourism”, “The role of projects in improving the level of knowledge of entrepreneurship and project management”.
        Also there were shown women's handmade products, master classes with the participation of artisans and students, as well as the film "Blue lake".
