Expert Meeting on "Women, peace and security"

      On December 3, 2020, the representative of Committee on women and family affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the online Expert Round Table Meeting on the theme "Women, Peace and Security" and made a report on "Contribution of Tajikistan in the implementation of Resolution 1325 of the Security Council of the United Nations (2000)".
      The Online Expert Round Table Meeting on the theme "Women, Peace and Security" (2-3 December 2020) was organized by the Organization for Security and Co–operation in Europe for representatives of OSCE participating States and civil society. During the meeting, issues related to the framing and implementation of National action plans for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325, monitoring, evaluation, information and influence, and the role of international organizations and civil society in promoting the implementation of this Resolution in Central Asia were discussed.
